Member of the Internet Link Exchange Episode 1 "Here's Ranma" A young girl and a panda are seen fighting in the streets, while elsewhere in Nerima Soun Tendo is calling his daughters together to tell them of some news. One of them is to wed Ranma Saotome, the son of Soun's good friend Genma. Soon Ranma shows up with a panda, but after hugging her, Soun realizes that Ranma is a girl. After a bit of confusion Akane, Soun's youngest daughter, and Ranma get into a little spar, where Ranma is untouched and defeats Akane with the touch of a finger. After the fight Ranma takes a bath, Kasumi, Soun's oldest daughter, sends Nabiki, the middle daughter, to tell Akane that her her bath was ready. Well, as it turns out, Akane walks in on some guy in the bathroom. Immediately proclaiming him a pervert, she prepares to punish him, but finds out that he too is Ranma Saotome. Ranma's father begins to tell the tale of their trip to Jusenkyo. Ranma and Genma traveled on a training mission to China, a training mission that brought them to the Cursed Springs of Jusenkyo. Ranma had fallen into the Spring of Drowned Girl and when he gets splashed with hot water, he changes into a girl. Genma becomes a panda under the same circumstances, though hot water reverts them both to human form. So then it comes down to choosing a wife for Ranma. Akane is always complaining about hating boys so Kasumi and Nabiki pronounce her his new fiance. Akane doesn't really agree because Ranma saw her in the nude and starts to tease her about her build in comparison to his girl side. Ranma just thinks she's too violent. Episode 2 "School is No Place for Horsing Around" Ranma goes to school with Akane the next morning (the same school as Nabiki) and accidentally gets splashed along the way while being attacked by Genma. Genma had disapproved of a comment Ranma muttered about Akane, leaving Ranma in girl form. Akane brings Ranma to the nearest source of hot water, Dr. Tofu's. Ranma sees some sort of affection for Tofu in Akane, though he thought she hated boys. With good reason, too, for when they arrive at Furinkan High School, a majority of the boys attack Akane on sight crying shouts of love. After tearing through them, another challenger appears. Though he is more upset at the sight of Saotome than anyone. Introducing himself as Tatewaki Kuno, the Blue Thunder of Furinkan High, he attacks Ranma. They fight until it starts to rain. Then Genma (as a panda) charges through, tosses Kuno aside and reverts Ranma to male out of sight. Akane and Ranma are thrown out of class for being late and as they stand there, Akane tells Ranma why the boys have been attacking her. Kuno declared at the beginning of the year that if any one wanted to date her they'd have to defeat her in battle. So she'd been fighting the guys every morning, ever since. Meanwhile, Nabiki, who is in Kuno's class, tells Kuno that Ranma and Akane are engaged and he is tossed out for being disruptive and makes his way toward Ranma. He screams something about the engagement and Ranma's entire class finds out. Ranma makes Kuno follow him to fight outside, but the entire class follows to watch. Ranma and Kuno take a slight short cut by jumping out of a window, but unfortunatly for Ranma, they are going to land in the school's swimming pool. The World if maintained by Mousse and Ki.
